At the end of the school day, for ten weeks, fifteen Year 5 children attended the Batley Bulldogs Study Centre on a Tuesday and Thursday.

The children used a network of computers with fast links to the Internet to improve their Literacy and Numeracy skills.

The children used a variety of fun, skill based programmes to sharpen up their skills in Literacy and Numeracy. The children also kept log books to record their achievements and were rewarded when they reached target points. The children really enjoyed the experience.
