School Reports & Parents Evenings Many parents expressed a desire to have more information about how to help their child with their learning. In order to address this, school reports for children in Reception to Year 5 will now be sent out just after Easter. (Year 6 reports will be sent out before Easter in order to give parents information on how to prepare your child for SATs.) This will give you the opportunity to work with your child on their targets for the rest of the academic year. Previous school reports in July have focused on telling you how well your child has done in the past year. By bringing the reports forwards I hope you will find them more useful and informative. These will replace the end of year reports. Parents evening will be held on Tuesday 8th May from 3.45-6pm and Wednesday 9th May from 6-7.30pm. You will be sent a form on which you can indicate any particular areas of concern you wish to discuss at you appointment. There will also be an opportunity to look at you child's work before your appointment. Please put these dates in your diary. |
