BATLER

Dear Glen,Craig and Batler.

Thank you for inviting us to Batley Bulldogs Rugby Club. We were really surprised at the way you sort out the shirts from one to thirteen, the protection you wear and even though the carpet can sometimes get dirty you still have carpet.

We were all feeling dizzy after we saw the scars on Craigs legs. Some children thought they were going to be sick. We all enjoyed going to the gym and doing boxing, sit ups, doing the chin and last of all at the gym doing the dipper.

We really enjoyed playing outside when we were running with the ball, passing the ball to other people and when you had to tig them after you had put the ball down.

What we learned was that you pass the ball backwards, press the ball down for a touch down, there are 13 people playing and 4 substitutes, you roll the ball on its side, the pitch from goal-post to goal-post is 100 metres long and you get 4 points for a try and 2 points for a kick.

Thank you for having us, Aysha, Nazeer and Sarah and all the children at Lydgate
