What I Used

Blue material, yellow card, tissue paper, wooden dowel sticks, elastic bands, thin string and glue.

What is the purpose of my shelter?

My shelter is designed and built to hold a small, stuffed toy dog named Bruce.

How I made it

Firstly, I got all the equipment I had put down on my first design. Soon after I made a base and erected a frame upon it. I used thin string and elastic bands to tie the joints and base together. Secondly, I cut a large piece of card into strips to use to weave in and out of the vertical supports and for the roof.

What I like about it

I like the way I tied the structures together. It made them very secure and strong. I also liked weaving the card in and out. I used the roof section space for storage, such as, collars, dishes, leads etc.

I would change

I think I would have a more solid roof which would make the whole structure stronger and more stable.
